We love coaching, it’s generative impact on the world, and how it lets people flourish. We believe the Coaching Lab contributes to this mission, so naturally, we want to make the Lab the best possible experience for practising coaches. That’s why we wanted to reach out to you to help us make sense of something.

We noticed many members hadn’t attended live sessions recently or watched the recordings despite paying for their membership. Seems to us that you’re missing out on a wealth of knowledge and experience that’s sitting inside, so we’re trying to figure out what needs to change so that you can make the best of what we’re putting out there.

What’s missing? How could we help you get the most out of your membership? What is preventing you from attending the labs live or watching the recordings?

1. Are you getting the emails and calendar invites for the Coaching Lab regularly?

Yes, I am updated with each new lab as it is announced.

No, I miss the email and forget all about the recordings.

I wish I were informed more frequently about when the lab is due as well as when the recordings are available.

2. What has prevented you from attending the live sessions or accessing the recorded sessions?

My time zone for the live session isn’t viable.

Time constraints since the labs are too long.

I don’t know where to access the recordings.

Mostly, I don’t remember to watch the recordings.

I am engaged in other coaching skill-building activities at the moment.

I didn’t find much value in the lab.

3. Which aspect of the Lab do you value the most?

Getting to sit in on live coaching sessions

4. We showcase a range of different coaching styles, and we’re wondering if the offering is too broad and perhaps we should niche. Would you rather see a particular coaching approach covered over multiple sessions (for example a series of 12 executive coaching labs only, or a series of Positive Psychology/Existential/Solutions Focused/etc Coaching Labs), or are you happy with the variety?

Yes, specialised niche Labs around a particular approach would help me get the most out of my membership.

5. We understand time can be an issue. Would a shorter format Coaching Lab session (e.g., a 30-minute demo, 30-minute discussion, and no practice breakouts) appeal more to you?

For me, Yes.
